Oceanopolis

I went to 'Oceanopolis' today, a kind of combination aquarium/museum.  The museum sections were kind of dull, but the aquarium was fun.
I got there just in time to watch them feeding the seals, and there was one feeder there who, for whatever reason, the seals just didn't like. They would start to approach her, and she'd hold out the food, and call for them, and they would immediately turn around and join the group of seals clustered around another feeder. That feeder would give away all her food, and the seals would approach the other girl again, then promptly turn their noses and swim the other way.
This may well be the saddest thing I've ever seen.

Nice photos. That's a cool looking sawfish.
I see the girl has a life preserver, just in case she decides to jump in with the seals.
The bird's gone. The seals must have eaten it.

Very sad. Wonder what the deal was?
