Never fear! As of yesterday, I have introduced the final element to bring this trip to perfection:
(A local chocolatier taught a chocolate-making class at our school yesterday).
In other news, I just rented a bicycle. After waiting a half an hour for a bus yesterday, I decided I'd rather spend my time biking than waiting around for buses. French pricing still confuses me. There are some things that are cheap in the U.S. that are just ruinously expensive here. On the other hand, the price to rent a bike for a MONTH, with lights, helmet, safety vest, and lock included: 5 euros. (That's less than the cost of a gallon of gas, if you're wondering). I don't understand why everyone at the school hasn't rented one....

Gosh, you even have a basket for all of your books. All for only 5 euros. WOW
So chocolate bunnies come from France... I notice one of your classmates is in a wheelchair. Everyone seems to be bundled up. Your California relatives would not thrive over there.
That looks like a nice bike. The chocolate looks good! And yes the California relatives, or at least this one, would probably say it was chilly :)
Yeah, I'm not quite sure why they all wear so many layers all the time.
Robyn, if you're interested, this is one of the only wheelchair accessible French schools in France.
