Today I visited Giverny, the home of Monet, as an excursion with my French school. We got to see his house, filled with his paintings, and explore the gardens where he painted many of them. I wasn't allowed to take photos of his paintings, unfortunately, but if you squint at these, you get kind of the same effect:

There were no tulips blooming when we went but an abundance of other things. You can see why Monet was inspired.
