Broceliande! It was in this forest of myths and legends, that many of the tales of King Arthur and the knights of the round table transpired. Here in this valley, Morgan la Fay held a hundred knights hostage, until they were rescued by Lancelot:
And here, at this lake, a young fairy princess battled her six elder sisters to save her lover:
And it was here, at this very spring, that Merlin first encountered the sorceress Vivienne, that Ivan battled the black knight before taking his place as the guardian of the spring, and where, legend says, pouring water from the spring onto the stone next to it will summon a thunderstorm.
I wasn't quite brave enough to risk discovering what would happen if you put a bird on it.

Le tombeau de merlin is there, too.
Yeah, I asked around, and I heard that Merlin's tomb wasn't that impressive. There were all kinds of related sites in the area that I didn't have time to check out.
