I was surprised how many functions the different shops here performed. For example, a combined tour operator/currency exchange/jewelry shop/massage, body-piercing and tattoo parlor:
This may be common elsewhere, too, but this was the first time I've seen coin-operated votive candles in the cathedrals.
Cusco's great, but I'm looking forward to exploring the surrounding area starting tomorrow!

Interesting to see the old Spanish buildings with cell phone towers in the background. I like the lightning font on the Cholo Potter t-shirt.
I don't know what to think about the votive candles. They're certainly less wasteful for the environment than the traditional ones, and the church gets more money. But it's kind of like praying via slot machine.
