When I had first arrived here, they said that they were looking into moving to a new house in June. Apparently, though, they discovered on Friday that their lease ended on Sunday (?), and decided to move out immediately. So, we spent the weekend preparing the new house and moving out of the old.
The good news is that the new house is MUCH nicer than the old. Still no hot water or Internet, but it's brighter, cleaner, dryer, prettier, more comfortable, has a garden, and has fewer ants.

Next week we're moving the office (where I work) to the second floor of the house: apparently, the new house is only a little more expensive than the old house and office combined, so we're consolidating. Next weekend, though, I think I may play hooky on moving day to see some waterfalls instead...

Whew. Looks like a lot of work. Looks worth it.
